Today is my second birthday ๐ฅณ๐ฅณ
I consider having three birthdays:
๐ The first was when I was born.
๐๐๐ The third was in 2020, when I came across a revolutionary understanding of how the mind works. That shifted my life in ways I couldnโt have imagined.
๐๐ The second was 26 years ago, on September 24th, 1999, when I crashed this car in the Black Forest. The car flipped several times, and I walked out without a scratch.
That crash taught me something I still carry with me today: ๐ฅ๐ข๐๐ ๐๐๐ง ๐๐ ๐จ๐ฏ๐๐ซ ๐๐ง๐ฒ ๐๐๐ฒ, and ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐๐๐ง ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ฅ๐ฒ. I try to remind myself daily (and I forget often and get caught up in life).
I had taken a wrong turn on the way to a concert. When I realized it, I was late and felt under pressure. In that state, I pushed too hard, made a driving mistakeโand the car flipped several times. Miraculously, it hit neither tree nor other cars, and I was lucky to survive.
Sometimes in a single instant. More commonly slowly, from the inside out. Our bodies are not designed to run on adrenaline all the time. Yet we so often misuse our minds as if every situation were life-or-death.
Thatโs why my โthird birthdayโ matters so much to me. Discovering how the mind really works and who we really are at the core gave me a baseline level of happiness, lightness, and gratitude than I couldn’t imagineโwhile also enhancing my courage, confidence and performance like never before.
So hereโs my birthday wish:
Take one conscious breath.
Feel the aliveness in you.
Drop your tension, focus on gratitude.
Spread love to someone today.

Have blessed day!
